Both people in Israel and abroad are divided, does Israel go in risking the hostages but to achieve the victory that has eluded them or do they hold back in the hope that somehow the hostages are released. This is a lose / lose for Israel and I for one do not know which way to turn. The soldier was clear with tears in his eyes that to prevent more soldiers dyeing and being injured Israel needs to be string and go in and finish the war and yet the woman in the shop takes the opposite view. What a terrible place Israel is in with no clear path forward.

So ,so sad .made me very tearful.the bombing needs to stop and people need to talk. Too many soldiers dying.

Well written. The moral dilemma is impossible. I hope BB and his government put Israel first (to borrow a Trumpism) in all the decisions they make.
