Thank you Susan it was fascinating to read all about the Druze people and their beliefs. I never really thought about their culture they were just always there in israel.

It’s a shame that the Druze are not given full rights as equal citizens of the country! There is much that needs changing by law to include these people that fight and give their lives in order to defend and protect the country ! I don’t pretend to understand the issue in full (some of it to do with building rights and financial support for their villages)… but know that there needs to be a change.

This is an interesting piece and I hope that it prompts people who read this and who are unfamiliar with them to find out more about the Druze

Another brilliant article. They are such an amazing group of people that no one seems to know anything about. They share a common history of persecution like the Jews and for seemingly no other reason other than they are different. The world is such a terrible place and full of so many xenophobic and ignorant people. Thank you for shedding light on the Druze and Kol Hakavod to Israel for protecting those who live peacefully in Israel and those who live outside its borders and who have asked Israel for their protection.
